What's in our soil? Each Nature's Care product is a select combo of ingredients created by Mother Nature herself. Sphagnum Peat Moss, a collection of moss species, holds onto water so that your soil stays moist between waterings. It's your plants' best buddy when they get thirsty. Coconut coir comes from the recycled outer husk of a coconut. It's the sidekick for peat moss, as it hangs on to that oh-so-valuable water. Root-trients package is a mixture of alfalfa meal, kelp meal, earthworm castings, and bone meal. It encourages faster plant growth, better nutrient absorption, and strong roots, when compared to unfed plants. Yucca is a byproduct of the yucca plant. Think of it as an extra shield for your soil, helping to protect plants from harsh conditions like that hot summer sun. Poultry Litter is a fancy word for poultry manure that feeds your plants. Like a nutrient taste-test for your soil, it provides natural sources of N, P, and K (that's nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium) in snack-size amounts. Aged Bark Fines are by-products of the lumber industry. Bark fines ensure that no soil is ignored! They create roadways within the soil for water and air to reach every part. Compost is made from decayed materials such as yard waste, food waste, and other throw-aways. Like a strong foundation for a new house, compost provides the organic base upon which all other ingredients can thrive. Perlite is a granule derived from volcanic rock. It works in tandem with bark fines to make pathways for water and air within the soil.
